THE SCHOOL:
Kenya School of Credit Management is an Institution of its kind that specializes in training and consultancy specifically in CREDIT MANAGEMENT.
Scope of Work:
Kenya School of Credit Management specializes on the following areas:
Training of students leading to professional qualifications in Credit Management.
Conducting seminars and workshops both in-house and general in Credit/Debt Management.
Debt Management consultancy, collection and outsourcing.
Kenya School of Credit Management is the only institution within sub-sahara which trains students in credit management as a profession. Such other institutions can only be found in South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria.
The School was incorporated in the year 2000 and is fully registered with the Ministry of Education and the Directorate of Industrial Training.

RECOGNITION
The Kenya School of Credit Management has taken a lead role in professionalizing Credit Management in Kenya and the graduates produced by the School are heavily recognized in the job market. The role of well trained credit control staff can never be more emphasized especially in this era of strained cash-flow and non performing debts in many organizations. MANAGEMENT
1. Mr. Patrick K. Kairu – BBA, BCM (UK), Msc – Credit (UK)
Mr. Kairu is a long standing Credit expert having graduated in UK in the field of Credit Management. He worked in various financial institutions at management levels before starting the first school of its kind in Kenya-Kenya School of Credit Management- an institution in Kenya that trains people in the latest tools to handle credit. Mr. Kairu introduced the career of credit management in Kenya and wrote the first curriculum that was used by KASNEB to examine students from the year 2001 up to 2009 when there was a change. He has written the first local book in credit management ‘CREDIT MANAGEMENT’ that is a recommended study guide for KASNEB students and all stakeholders of credit.
Mr. Kairu is a board member of KASNEB, Honorable secretary to the Institute of Credit Management - Kenya, Director of Studies at the Kenya School of Credit Management and a lecturer of the core subject – Credit Management.
Mr.J. K. Mburu – BSC (NBI), PGDE (KU), MBA,CPA (K)
Mr. Mburu worked in the public sector for quite a reasonable time before he took early retirement to join the Kenya School of Credit Management as a technical Director. Mr. Mburu undertakes special tasks in writing credit policies and restructuring credit departments in organizations. He also lectures in decision – making subjects at the School.
Mr. Michael Musyoka- CPA-K, Diploma in Business Adm
Michael is the school’s accountant and auditor. He has trained locally and has a lot of wealth in Credit Management. Michael is a trainer and specializes in the subjects of Accounts and Management.
Mr. Joseph M. Muiruri- Bcom-credit, CCP-K
Joseph is a graduate of Credit Management through KASNEB Examinations and a member of the Institute of Credit Management. He is also the current CEO of the Institute of Credit. He has a wealth of experience in credit management having worked as a credit manager in various companies resting on Fedex as a senior credit controller, before joining the Kenya School of credit management a as a credit/debt consultant.
Daniel C. Kamau - LLB
Daniel is a lawyer by training and a passionate trainer in law specialized in commercial and constitutional law. He teaches Company law, Law governing credit practice (securities law) and Debt recovery (civil procedure, Arbitration & Bankruptcy). He is the executive director of UZALENDO INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP & DEMOCRACY, an NGO that offers constitutionalism and leadership trainings.
