Between 16th October and 12th November 2016, four University of Nairobi (UoN) medical students had the brilliant opportunity of spending some time in the Charité – Universitätsmedizin in Berlin, Germany, as part of a bilateral student exchange program between the two institutions.

Dr. Maxwel Okoth founded Ruai Family Hospital in 2011, a year after he graduated from UoN’s School of Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 2010.

Whatsapp re-unites UoN's first largest female medicine students

It was a day to remember for University of Nairobi’s first ever and largest 26 female doctors who graduated in early 80’s from the then male dominant School of Medicine.
The doctors held a re-union on 4th February, 2016 at the College of Health Sciences to celebrate and look back on 40 years as women medical doctors in training and practice.

VIDEO: Separated twins doing well 6 weeks after historic surgery
The twin girls, Blessing and Favour who were separated early last month in a landmark operation. They are recovering well six weeks after the surgery.
The twins who were separated by a medical team from the University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital six weeks ago are recovering well.

became Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) during the Convocation ceremony at the College’s 2016 annual Clinical Congress in Washington, DC, in October 2016. The year 2016 class of Initiates was among one of the largest ever admitted into the College.
